Yoga is an ancient practice of meditation, physical posturing, and focus that leads to lower stress levels, greater control over urges and appetites, and increased self-awareness. In addiction therapy, yoga has become a staple activity to help clients find clarity and self-control through the treatment process.
At Recovery Coast, we partner with licensed yoga teachers who guide our clients through hour-long sessions. Previous experience with yoga is not required and every session can be modified to fit all experience levels.
