RFactor4 Music Therapy
According to the American Music Therapy Association, “music therapy can be defined as the clinical and evidence-based use of music to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. It involves using music to help people manage physical, emotional, or cognitive problems.“
Recovery Coast offers a unique music therapy program as part of our holistic approach addiction treatment. We’ve seen the powerful therapeutic effects of music in helping addicts break free from substance abuse. Part of our RFactor4 curriculum is to re-connect with something fulfilling while re-creating one’s self. We find that many of our clients can heal and find a positive outlet through exposure to music therapy.
